There are three things I have realized about the creative writing profession. First, the lifelong learning, price, and process to be a literary artist is far greater than most ever imagine, and so is its value.

Second, gaining appreciation of the art of literature, research, and critical thinking, as a Humanities English literature student, becomes even more enriching as a Fine Arts literary writing student and Christian Science practitioner.

And third, the highest levels of learning are made possible by approaching the meaningful arts of writing and literature through the practice of teaching, storytelling, and healing.
